🎚️ Your input needed (a new idea for SundayMix)

Hey team,
I've been thinking a lot about the future of SundayMix and how we can best serve this community.
One of the best parts of writing this newsletter is the replies I get from many of you. It's clear there's a ton of wisdom here, but it's also clear that many of you are facing the same tough challenges alone in the sound booth.
So, I've been thinking about creating a dedicated place for us to solve those problems together: a private, members-only community for SundayMix readers.
This wouldn't be a formal "course," but an ongoing home base for us. The goal is to create the single most helpful, practical community for church sound techs on the internet. It would be a place where you could:
Get your specific gear questions answered by a community of peers.
Share a recording of your Sunday mix and get constructive feedback.
Join a monthly live Q&A call with me on Zoom to troubleshoot your biggest challenges in real-time.
Connect with hundreds of other techs who are in the trenches just like you.
Invite expert panelists and practitioners within the community to do advanced Q&A

But this is just an idea, and it only works if it truly serves you. So, I have two simple questions:
Would a community like this be valuable to you? If so, why?
Would you be comfortable using a simple community app (like Circle.so) to participate?

I'm thinking of hosting it on a simple, modern platform called Circle.so, with a small monthly cost of around $5 to keep it focused and valuable. A portion of the revenue would also be reinvested into growing this free newsletter, helping us pursue our shared mission of equipping thousands more volunteers serving the church.

Just hit reply to this email and let me know your honest thoughts. A simple "Yes to both" or any other feedback you have would be a huge help as I figure out the next steps. Or click below and let me know.
Would a community like this be valuable to you? |
Thanks for being a part of this.

Until next time,

Church sound that slaps. Built for the volunteers in the booth, not the guys in suits.
